GPS- Garmin Nuvi

Just in case is anyone is looking for GPS devices, and rather not buy it from FutureShop or Best Buy I've found a couple of companies in Calgary which has impressive & decent prices.

http://www.gpscity.ca/automotive-gps
http://www.gpscentral.ca/products.htm#auto
http://www.gpsmart.ca/catalog.htm

The first 2 companies are in Calgary and the third is in Toronto.

Now if anyone can beat their prices, as I don't care where it comes from. :) but they must be brand new (Sealed in box) not refurbish etc etc, please contact me.

Hummm.. Unfortunately I haven't shop at Costco in years. From what I can see from their online store, there is no Nuvi 680 listed, but they have a 670 listed for $579.99

The 760 @ Costso is $519.99 http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10303862&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000&eCat=BCCA|79&N=4008708&Mo=15&No=6&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=3862&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-CA&Sp=C&topnav=

I bought that exact Nuvi from Costco. There are MANY ites you wont find on thier site but they did have skids of them in stock throughout May. I haven't been since.

The Nuvi 680 is my third GPS and by far the prettiest. Love the blue tooth hands free and FM transmitter but honestly..... Its mostly gadgets the average guy or gal won't use. If you want value go with the Tom Tom One, 3rd edition. Very accurate coordinates and mapping and actuall has a few features I wish the Nuvi had.

I haven't heard of that Jasmine, but it's agood idea. Being able to download voices for your GPS like ringtones for your cell. What woman wouldn't want Sean Connery telling you to "turn left in 200 meters my dear". :)

which one is the one i saw on tv before with the cool voice like mister T telling you what street to turn? i remember i saw on tv it was very cool, like "turn here fool!" or "i pity the fool dont exit in 200 meters!" :)
You can add cusomized voices to any decent GPS. Garmin has quite a few third party sites that allows for a ton of celeb voices for D/L. I found a few unreliable third party TomTom sites as well. Best place for customized voices is a torrent site.
Customized voice files are relatively small ones which could be emailed I think. I'm sure if you bought a GPS, you'd have no problem getting someone you know from this site to send you a couple.

If you want brand new GPS at low price, the source has GARMIN C550 GPS NAVIGATOR WITH SECOND VEHICLE MOUNT AND GPS DASH MOUNT on sale for $285. This GPS has bluetooth technology which was not important enough to pay $100 extra for so I skipped buying it.

I bought a garmin nuvi 350 from tigerdirect last month for $179. I think it was refurbished but it works great.

Diesel, would be interested in knowing the sites you know for downloading custom voices. also I tried downloading the custom cars but they are not showing up on my GPS. any ideas on what i may be doing wrong?

Would you care to share the URLs?

Sam's Club currently has the Nuvi 750 for $299. That has to be the GPS value in Canada right now.

The Nuvi 680 is still at Costco for $349 and the Nuvi 350 is $199.

Hi Norm.... The Nuvi 750 is at Sams Club Canada at $299 or Sams USA? If it is Canada, which location did you see it? Thanks.
