Lucky I never been pick pocketed but maybe cause I tend not to carry a wallet. Yep, I keep my ID and 1 or 2 credit cards in my back pocket-with the button attached. The other back pocket gets my big bills and the front gets my spending cash for small buys.

The left front breast pocket is the number 1 target I seen. They also claim guys will pat the pocket their wallet is in now and then.

When I was a late teen I had a chain wallet--biker style but it just isn't cool for a clean cut guy to wear those, lol

I usually never have it in my left breast pocket, and I hate having a wallet in my back pocket either. Usually I carry what I need in my pants pockets. It was a bad day for me to put it in that pocket. Lesson learned never again...

So,

Here I am in Toronto this afternoon after a meeting with a client in T-dot. anyway it nice day and I decided to do walk down to Eaton Center, to do a little shopping and look at the ladies aswell..LOL..

Anyway I'm in the Eaton Center already purchased some things, and walking to the next store. Now I usually have my wallet/money in my front pants pockets. I'm wearing a nice suit today so I decided to put it in my left inside pocket. So in transit to the other store, this woman bumped into me and guy behind me also bumped into me as well.. Nothing I thought of it at the time, just an accident. Made my way down to the store and ready to purchase my items, and what ya know. Can't find my wallet with my id, cc, my other id's, and 500 in cash. !bam! it hit me about a few moments ago with the lady that bumped into me. Luckily I remember I had a CC in my pocket after buying lunch with my client, made my purchase and walk to the closest information booth to report it..

Man it sucks being pick pocketed. I really don't care about the cash they can have it, but man I have to go through all the bull shit in getting all of my Id's back.

Report this to the credit bureaus...

Call Equifax and Transunion credit agencies and have them put a flag on your credit report...any attempts to obtain credit in your name, the company (lender) has to call you first (at the number you have provided to them) to confirm it was you who applied.

Yes, it will cause some hassles the next time you apply for a loan, etc, but as long as you are upfront with the company and tell them in advance that you have a flag on your credit report, you should have no problems.

It will be much less of a hassle than having to try and fix your credit rating after someone has impersonated you and ruined your credit history!
