Yeah too bad it was over years before C36 was even a dreamThe Hooker Harvey's street meat scene died as a direct result of the Harper Bill C36, where the low hanging fruit of the sex trade, the street pimps in the Church and Jarvis area who were primarily black where eliminated. Because the. Attorney General in Queens Park ordered LE to disregard Bill C36, LE used and continues to use the charges of human trafficking on these pimps, while other privileged individuals get a free pass.
Ah not so, there was still significant street action around Church and Jarvis well after this article right up until Bill C36 became law. I remember eating at Guu Izakaya now Kinka on just south of Carleton on Church St. many times after your 2009 Star article and seeing these streetwalkers standing at many corners in the area. Nobody knew how C36 would play out, or would have imagined that places York Region have seen brothels aka holistics flourishing as LE is sidelined except if human trafficking or underaged is involved.Yeah too bad it was over years before C36 was even a dream
Don't let truth get in the way of a good rant though

Mention maybe, but not in a way that deals with the street scene as in any way safe (legally or hygienically) or appropriate for serious discussion and consideration in any of these Forums.I guess were allowed to mention street walkers now. I got banned for a month from TERB for mentioning street walkers once. In fact, it was particular area I was asking about...lol.
As soon as Bill C36 became law, street walkers for the most part vanished in the major cities like Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Winnipeg. And yes Toronto. You think too locally it seems.@locomotil
It is simply safer indoors
Has been for quite some time
Streetwalkers have long been a dying breed
Went out around the time they cleaned up Yonge-Dundas lol
All gone.are streetwalkers gone?
Haha that reminded me of the streetwalkers that always stood outside the Zanzibar, everyone coming and going got groped, especially the drunks. 70's through the early 90'sAll gone.
Their were some beautiful streetwalkers there years ago. Short skirts, high heels, wow.
Once in awhile there are one or two streetwalkers on Yonge St. just across from the 24 hour McDonald's/Swiss Chalet immediately south of Gerrard/Yonge.
The internet changed everything.Haha that reminded me of the streetwalkers that always stood outside the Zanzibar, everyone coming and going got groped, especially the drunks. 70's through the early 90's
