Not a big deal and certainly not evil IF the terms and conditions for Google Play had mentioned this.

"We / Google will share your personal information including your name, address, e-mail and etc. with Developers ....."

You, as a registered member of Google Play have every right to know that your personal / private information will be shared with some other folks. But, when you signed up with Google Play, you were provided with terms and conditions from Google NOT some developer living on Mars!

"We / Developer which you bought our product will kick your ass if you post negative feedbacks about our application. We know where you live ...."

You have to accept the fact that Google has no product to sell to pay their employees except Ads. And Ads, my friend, include selling your whereabouts.

They have never invented any product what-so-ever. What they have, today, is the result of take overs. Even then, how many companies they bought, tried, then shut them down?!!

Their latest so-called product self-driving car which is going to cost a fortune ... well ... http://www.theverge.com/2013/2/17/3...d-university-laser-powered-autonomous-vehicle

Quite untrue, but I have learned better than to try to correct anyone so terribly ill-informed. Call it learning from trying to deal with Fuji.

Objection, your honour!

With respect, there appears to be only 1 and only 1 ill-informed group. But then again, they are not ill-informed per say. Let's call them, Google fanboys! :)

Next argument would be Apple vs Samsung! But, that one was also another proven fact in the court of law that as soon as the original iPhone was introduced, a few Samsung engineers were rushed to unscrew their shiny new iPhones to see what's inside! LOL

You don't have to take my word for it. As they say, Google is your friend. ;)

Frankly, just wanted to share my point of view on Google based on millions of well written documents from well-known, popular and accurate web sites. However, everyone's entitled to express their opinions and open up their wallets to their fav. providers! The beauty of capitalism is all about choices. :thumb:

terms and conditions? Really? Do all Apple users read terms and conditions line by line? Or they still have time left admiring their shiny metal casing or whatever iProduct?

The problem is, Google reached out to Russian programmers to develop apps for the android & play devices. A lot of where our information is going is, unfortunately, directly into the computers of cyber criminals.

Apple knows how to make UI pretty, and wrap the same ordinary eletronics around with polished aluminum, and put their logos on it. that's about it, and you are paying premium.

I am a developer and can really see through all that vanilla coating, is nothing but cost-saving and technical inferiority really. I recently started developing iOS app, and amazed time and time again, how overly complicated their development tool is compared to Microsoft or Google, which can do a lot more and takes less time. so much about user friendly eh? not so developer friendly I'd say. What amazed me even more I just found out I have to track my own app sales, because Apple does not keep more than 13 weeks of sales data in your developer account - this is after you pay them $99 a year, compared to Googles one time fee of $25.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4996656/itunes-connect-check-total-sales

After spending almost 2 months in XCode, I found that apple is almost in every way technically inferior to MS and Java, yet they can sugarcoat their products and sell at premium prices to suckers like you.

apple sued samsung, sure. samsung is suing apple now, 17 counts of copyright. also if you want to go back and look ibm had the first touch screen, mp3 players came first and microsoft had the first tablet. now if you want to compare apple vs samsung in sales go ahead apple is winning for now but if you compare apple vs droid who is winning ? apple was 1 platform and they keep growing and shrinking it depending on what they released last. don't gag to hard on the apple teat, they may still be big but they are falling due to lack on innovation in the last while. they just do good by charging triple what it's actually worth and what their competitors charge cuz you know if it costs more it has to be better.

and no i am not a samsung fan, don't own one. so don't go down that route.

first touch screen phone was done by ibm and it's name was simon.
mp3 came first
MS had first tablet

all facts. deal with it. the other fact is that apple hasn't created anything new in a long time and the fad is burning out. other than size and the ability to make calls there is no difference between the ipod touch, iphone, ipad, ipad mini. they haven't innovated in a long time and they finally caught up with droid who had the technology 4 years ago that the iphone is bragging about now. let it go gentleman, let it go.

don't drag it any further.
All jokes aside, Samsung owes Apple over $1 billion USD .... for now!

Of course, the damage is in fact much higher for both Samsung and Google because they had to purchase a number of patents from IBM (and others) and spend $12 billion dollars to take over Motorola (for the sake of their 17,000 patents) just so that they could fight Apple.

HTC was smart to give up and don't be surprised if they outsell Samsung in 2013.

End of story!
