Goodbye TERB and Hobbying

Hi,

I've been a member of TERB for a long time, in all honesty I haven't posted and reviewed half as much as I should have but I want to thank all of you that have and do post, you all make this site what it is.

I've been hobbying (is that even a word!!!) for a long time and late last week I had quite a scare. I thought I had picked up an STI, I'm a fan of the BBBJ and although I knew it was risky still took the chance. I realize the risks are not as significant as other activities but the risk is still there and real.

I found out today that I'm clear and the full battery of tests came out negative but the anxiety that I went through this week made it feel like years. I thought about how it could effect my life (literally) and also what would happen to my family.

I'm not here trying to be preachy and tell you all I've seen the light and bring you along with me. I just thought that I should thank those of you who post regularly and thank the lovely women on here. I'm hanging up the gloves for good this time, I've contemplated it in the past when feeling guilty but this time I'm done. I haven't slept in the last week, couldn't work, eat, nothing.

I feel you brother. I had a BBBJ and had a scare, and the wait for the results felt like forever, i swore i wouldn't hobby anymore but i gave in, i still have a penis afterall. The risk of infection didn't suddenly just appear out of nowhere, it's always been there. Some guys are braver then others, i only received ONE BBBJ from an SP, and although there was nothing to show that i was infected with anything, just knowing i did something bare with a girl that probably blows hundreds to thousands of cocks gave me a scare, enough to get tested, thankfully i'm clean. My choice to cut down on hobbying wasn't because of money, but because like the OP, i started thinking about my family and what it would do to me and the SO. I always think twice, then think again, and if the girl is really worth it, or if i'm uncontrollably horny, then i'll go out and hobby, but i've restrained myself greatly. BBBJ is a high risk activity that every terbite seems to demand from every SP. I refuse to believe every guy an SP blows is clean, and i don't want to take a chance again. If you read what the OP wrote, he said he THOUGHT he picked up a STI, turns out he's clean. So he didn't pick up anything from anyone. No need to disclose the SP's name for that.

How come your SO did not detect smell of other women when you come home?
