Looking for a good place to get the windows of my car tinted so I can try some street talent that I have seen in around town. Is Tint King and other places good. I want a professional job but don't want to break the bank. Anybody know of any good places and how much shoudl I expect to pay

Someone might be able to answer this......I got my windows tinted very dark in the rear window, but the style of my window (new acura) left what they called a "matrix grid" at the top that is barley noticable, but still bothers the hell out of me. I am told there are solutions to cover this up, but the place I got my windows tinted and a few others I called are clueless. Any suggestions?

all provinces have tint darkness laws in force. Ontario basically leaves it up to the cop who stops you to decide if he/she can see into teh front windows, if the cop decides that the tint is to dark you have to defend yourself in court. Qubec law is similar but if you have Ontario plates.....

technically, any tint is illegal accoring to the HTA.... but since it is more or less a "grey" area, it is up to the cop's discretion.

For the most part, 35% is the unofficial "Legal" limit for tint on the front windows, go as dark as you want in the back.... but have fun backing up at night, Along with the added attention you attract.
