I guess you missed the episode the other night on Market Place . Fish oil capsules are garbage . They tested many companies fish oil and found it to be rancid . Fish oil goes rancid in just a few hours . If you like to waste your money and eat rancid food then by all means take the capsules .What's a good amount of EPA and DHA per capsule?
I checked out Nature's Bounty and it's a combination of 260 mg per capsule (x2-3 per day) for both but they don't tell you how much of each. Compared to other brands, this seems low.
Life Brand clocks in at 400 EPA and 200 DHA per capsule (x2-3 per day).
Trying to get a rough estimate of what's a decent/good number.
Vitamins are garbage as well . Just eat a good balanced diet of good foods and you will get the proper vitamins that you need. Once saw a company advertise their bread as having a large serving of vegetables in the bread . You would have to eat the whole loaf of bread or just eat a simply carrot to get the same thing .
Vitamins are one of the biggest scams out there . A little time spent on research will surprise you . Don't always believe what the doctors are telling you . Many of them are being paid by the drug companies to push their products so they can make money .
For example people who are taking Vitamin C are not getting the right stuff . Your just getting Vitamin C and not all of the good things that you'll get if eating something that has Vitamin C in it . Pure Vitamin C is not going to help you . Studies show that people who are taking vitamins actually do not live longer then those who don't . Spend the time and money to buy and eat healthy foods .

Check out this doctors you channel and you will see what I mean . No he's not the only one saying this . By the way when Market Place confronted one company about the rancid fish oil in their capsules the company rep didn't know what to say to explain the rancid fish oil . He did say that the capsules were to have a long shelve life but there was no guarantee that the oil wasn't rancid .
