JFK - funny monicker
Anyway - Mary Jo was killed in a car accident - an accident that Teddy was morally and criminally responsible for. Therefore, he killed her. He didn't murder her; but he did kill her. Nobody else did.
He added to this by not reporting it. This is completely indisputable. Even he doesn't dispute this, for heaven's sake.
As for the real JFK's affairs, they were a violation of both his office and his marriage. For the 3rd time now, I don't see them as a big deal.
No one, that I've seen, has said that these affairs made him the worst President. But the point is that the "Camelot" stuff is nothing but shtick.
----
The Kennedy's support of Joe McCarthy wasn't due to peer pressure, but due to them being good friends with him. Even when the world had finally turned on McCarthy, Kennedy refused to repudiate him.
It took acts of great courage to stand up to McCarthy and his evil committee. But even when he was finally beaten, the Kennedys failed to act. This is a funny juxtaposition vs. their strong stance on civil rights. Really, some of you who are capable of contemplating these issues, should ponder how this was possible.
Keep in mind, too, that JFK wasn't always a supporter of the civil rights movement - I don't hold his early views against him here - his later actions speak for themselves.
But let's also remember JFK's great moments alongside the less than bright events like the Bay of Pigs.
