Just be careful about the amount of funny business on the course. Which from your post does not seem to be your intention.

From what I heard, a few years back there was multiple groups that went out back to back with SW's/strippers? at an Ottawa area course (Some sort of organized outing) and some were engaging in "activities" really slowing down the play. There is no more bitter person, then a golfer that is being slowed down by groups ahead of them - they will try to figure out what the heck is going on and bitch about it. Apparently some called the clubhouse or police,

Police arrived and apparently went right out on the course.

It’s a fun sport if you enjoy being in competition with yourself.
I don’t have a great swing yet , but I like to practice.
A great date is also to swing at the range.
It’s many place to do that. I prefer outdoor (the real ones).
Virtual ones are ok for a rainy day I suppose.
Taming a class with Kevin as a couple is also a great date and you get to practice for free after
