Well.. I'm going for it. Booked a vacation.. Not leaving till Nov.2nd, I figure by then all the covid rules and passports will be in play.. I'm off to the Dominican Republic for two weeks. i figure the plane ride will be the worse although by then you must be fully vaccinated to fly, once at the resort I can keep the room to myself, I know how and where to wear a mask, carry my bottle of sanitizer,, Should be ok

Dominican accepts mixed vaccines. But a lot of other Carribean destinations don't.

Do you have mixed vaccines?
Two Pfizer shots... I have 2000$ worth of free travel, I plan on using 500 a trip.. Last time I was at the same resort in the Dominican the price was 1150 for 7 days,, this deal was 1250 for 14days - 500 credit = 750 for14 days all inclusive. Next is Mexico, then Cuba and an open spot...

Sounds sensible enough; go for it.

A bit disappointing that some destinations don't recognize mixed doses as legitimate.

I was planning on going to Hawaii in November but they don't recognize mixing Astra and Moderna. So no trip for me.
Plus wasn't keen on paying for a departure test(both ways).
