A little to unpack here...

I use my second bedroom for work and although I wish I could have a King or Queen sized bed in it, it is not possible because I need a side table and room for my aquariums.

So far I have had no issues with the double bed unless I am doing a duo, then it becomes a little cramped. But during a duo, isn't being close together a good thing? Hehe.

As for answering the door, I choose to stay behind it in case somebody else is walking down the hall. I don't need my neighbours seeing me answer the door in lingerie.
It is for my discretion as well as yours.

Same day bookings are very difficult for me to accommodate (for personal reasons) unless I am touring. I don't think that will change anytime soon.
As long as a booking is made the previous day, I can usually make it work.
