I have a team to cheer for until Gonchar comes back in Pittsburgh, lol...
btw 9 of the 11 seasons the Habs held the all star game they've won the stanley cup.
the Habs have one a stanley cup in ever decade of existence. this is the final year of the present decade.
the last team from Canada to win the Stanley Cup is ? _______________
the last goalie to win a stanley cup with the Canadiens won the Calder Cup in the AHL as a rookie.... Carey Price did just that in '07 AHL playoffs.

In the Eastern Conference, perhaps with the now first place Bruins and second place Capitals, there is a great deal of uncertainty in terms of which teams will be the 3rd to 8th seed. It could very well be the Habs vs Sabres in the opening round of playoffs.

They have one last shot this year to prevent this being the only decade since their inception to NOT have won Lord Stanley's Cup.
