She is bang fucking on. And this was the case 20 fucking years ago when I was younger and was hanging out in Toronto with friends.
Toronto is a stuck up city. The residents are stuck up. The local politicians are stuck up. Everything about Toronto is stuck up. And I don't know why.

Toronto seems to think of itself as some World class city, at the top of the list, when in fact it is a joke, and has been for decades.
It's public transit is a joke. It has 2 and a half subway lines that close nightly, and can't even seem to keep running without closures when they are open.
It is insular and actively discourages people from outside of the city to come in for social events, due to lack of parking, and exorbitant Go train fees.

And people are in general unfriendly.
World class city my ass.

Toronto Sucks.

Back in the day, 30, 40 years ago, Toronto was known for having the best public transit system in North America, but now it is brutal. IMO, the biggest problem in this city is there are too many people immigrating here and not enough amenities to accommodate them, same as Montreal and Vancouver. There was a time if people came to Canada from abroad, they had to settle in smaller communities for a number of years and that included professionals such as doctors, etc. before they were allowed to relocate to the big city. This city will never be the same.
