Gentlemen i was wondering if you get a gift for your Favourite SP or MPA or Dancer you see on a regular basic.

If so what is a good gift to give them?

Ladies of TERB i would also be interested in your comments.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Take them shopping at Holt Renfrew

If they are in school, or claim to be, a top of the line laptop.

A new Nikon D - 60 or D90

If that is out of your budget, create a gift basket from The Body Shop.

Beyond the usually substantial cash tributes already involved, you probably don't understand the arrangement very well. Wait till she starts making gifts to you, then reciprocate.

Most younger SP/MPA girls wouldn't want to carry around a D-SLR like a D60...better to get a compact "deck of cards sized" digital point and shoot that they can fit in a tiny purse to use when they go out with their friends. Just my opinion.

Anything less than a diamond studded gold necklace will make you
look cheap.

Something that shows you're appreciation for the time, money, and effort that she puts into being the provider that you like:

* Gift certificate from The Bay or Holt Renfrew for perfume, body cream, make-up, etc.
* Gift certificate for a good Spa, pedi&mani, waxing, etc.
* Gift certificate for a session with a professional make-up artist.
* (If she tans) Gift certificate for tanning sessions.

If you know her enough to know more about her tastes:

* Tickets for a play, concert or other events that you think she will enjoy.
* Books, CDs from authors or artists she has mentioned or you think she will enjoy.

I don't think it should have to be very expensive.

One of my regular clients, totally surprised me by giving me a gift card to my favourite clothing store. This was neither expected nor talked about and it was such a sweet gesture. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what to get a man who seems to have it all?! If the men have ideas to share with us also, that would be incredibly appreciated. Just a side note: he is not only a regular but someone I've developed a close friendship with. We talk about everything and anything and he bought me a cute pair of jammies the last time we were together so I could feel more comfortable. They weren't pornstarish, just sweet, comfy 'La Senza' long sleeved top and bottoms that I could wear anytime.

I like to give Tim Hortons gift cards. Even an amount as small as $10 can go a long way there especially if the person just gets coffees or teas.

I don't give gifts to anyone at Christmas

a) It has nothing to do with the religious holiday, even if I were very religious.

b) Why this time and not some other time in the year?

And you will always experience this intimate encounter as a pay for play business arrangement. Some of us are lucky to meet someone really wonderful and want to thank them for being special by getting them a little something. Maybe this is why (as I've said in the past) sp's say to their agencies: if Tboy calls in and I'm booked off, call me cuz I'll come in just to see him".

If I see someone more than once or twice and have a real connection with them I'll make sure I know their sizes (it helps that they're listed on the website lol) and get them something from LaSenza based on their personality. I know with one agency lady who said she was retiring soon and had mentioned on more than one occasion about seeing me after retirement. I thought a cute way to give her my phone number was to print it off in reverse on iron on transfer printer paper and I put it in the left cup of a little nightie. I said "if she's ever lying in bed and feeling a little lonely, my number will always be close to her heart" lol......

I have quite a few "clients" (friends) with whom I have this policy. At the same time as an SP I don't think Christmas gifts, especially the kinds mentioned, are entirely appropriate. I'm sure all those fancy gifts are very nice but I know that if one felt as though they wanted to give a gift something small but personal would mean so much more.

Just saying.

Great ideas, I would kill for a new laptop right now, LOL. I think a blackberry is also nice but if you are creating a giftbasket may I suggest www.lush.ca

They have great stuff and lots of prewrapped gifts. I adore lush it is my guilty pleasure!

Lush is one of my guilty pleasures too. I love their bath bombs. Bath and Body Works is also good for a gift cards. They have the most amazing smelling shower gels and body lotion!

Exactly, some extravagant gifts are just, I don't know, more about "showing off" than being thoughtful.

That's why whenever I did get something for an sp I wanted it to be something specific to them personally.
