It takes a special breed to start a conflict about there being too many threads, once a year, for the end of the biggest conflicts in the world.
It's the fact there are multiple threads on the same subject. I could understand two but four? it' that i do want to read them but why so many about the same subject. Even the mods have been known to amalgamate threads.
it's not once a day. he just happened to mention it today. seems there are multiple threads about the same topic over and over.
Here is the story of someone who also served. Marlene Dietrich was born in Germany but hated the Nazis. By the time WW II happened, she was an American citizen. She did a tour of the front lines to entertain the American troops.
At one station, the American commander said he would build a separate shower stall for Miss Dietrich to protect her modesty. She said don't bother and simply took her shower with the GI's. (Please don't ask for a link. Thank you.)
