Germany's top court ruled on Tuesday that an anti-Semitic, medieval sculpture can stay on the facade of a church in the eastern town of Wittenberg, rejecting an appeal by a Jewish plaintiff who has for years argued it is an insult to all Jews.
Not just you. Lots of Germans walked by concentration camps in their towns a thousand times and didn't realize they were concentration camps.

You equate a 13th century obtuse satire faded wall sculpture to extermination camps ?? That is quite the leap.
I don't think that he equated them. He pointed out how just because someone doesn't notice a symbol of anti-Semitism, doesn't mean that it isn't anti-Semitic. (At least that's how I interpreted it.)
