If you can somehow tie the executions into a greater genocide, you won't hear a peep out of the UN. But don't put panties on their heads!

Well at least we don't shoot these bastards. What in hell does the UN want from us - If we give them bail to face trial they are free to hurt Canadians, if we boot them and send them back home they may someday end up, god forbid, in the US driving airliners into buildings.

Back to my original statement, I say lets shoot them and give the UN and Amnesty International something to really bitch about.
if they are a danger- prove it. in a court. this is a country of laws.

Every week or two--never more--some right winger gives spectacular proof that they just plain do not believe in the rule of law. But no matter how often this defect is exposed, nothing happens; they just don't see it as a problem, don't care. The "market" and the law of the jungle are plenty good enough.

Then why do prison populations poll much stonger for the democrats?

Pennsylvania’s Governor, Ed Rendell, took great pains in the fall of 2004 to make sure that people in Pennsylvania prisons who could vote were able to vote, yet, for some strange reason, was holding to a very strict line on the deadline for Pennsylvanians serving in Iraq to get their votes in, even though it was a problem created by the state that sent absentee ballots to them late!

MW was spouting off about the right wing's disdain for the rule of law. If this were true you would expect more conservatives to be incarcerated. Not off topic at all. It just required a little abstraction on your part.

I don't think thats what he was saying at all. He was talking about right wingers disdain for the rule of law i.e. due process - and their knee jerk reaction to string up the bastards rather than waiting fo a trial by 12 good men and true. so yes- it was off topic. if you meant something other than what you posted the fault lies not in the stars my friend but in your self.
