I'm surprised there is no mention at all regarding the million or so people who are partying in Toronto this weekend. I'm not gay but I'm not not gayphobic either and plan on having a good weekend. We've had more couple invites to parties this weekend, and I know the clubs at night will be extra charged...I'm sure due to the increased heat and sexual events in town....just surprised there has been no mention...

Checked out the festivities today. Good fun like it is every year. Good food and good eye candy (I mean the girls)! Lots of pretty ladies in pretty revealing outfits, even though it is pride weekend lots of straight girls go out as an excuse to let loose! Good stuff.

I try not to miss that parade. It's good-hearted and a bit risqué at the same time. Something Toronto can be proud of. I always get moist-eyed when I see the PFLAG marchers, those parents and friends of lesbians and gays.

You know what would take courage? A parade celebrating the sex trade and its clients. We could have floats reperesenting the various agencies and MPs. Maybe a replica of a paddy wagon depicting a raid. How about a TERB float. I can see it now. A giant moving wire and flower replica of Goober and Sheik sharing a reuniting hug.
