I have a Best of Procol Harum CD and for some inexplicable reason Whiter Shade... is not on it.

The other Procol album I have is with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra where they had another hit with a version of Conquistador.

I'd heard that later in his career he composed advertisement jingles. Same as John Sebastian does.
