so Ive been feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted to play command and conquer. I used to have a gaming rig back when cnc was relatively cool. now I have a laptop(lenovo). it has an integrated video card, but Im unsure if it would fulfill the requirements.

I thought that since it cnc was from the late 90s - 2000s my two year old laptop could support this old game.

am I dreaming or would I have to buy a computer just to play this game?

Isn't there a web page on line that will tell you if your gear will run a particular game?

You should be ok based on the specs you gave. You'll just have to try it and see if it works. I assume you have an original CD of the game? If it doesn't work, you can also look into the C&C Remastered Edition, which will run on modern versions of Windows. You'll have to buy it on Steam for $26 though.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1213210/Command__Conquer_Remastered_Collection/ It includes remastered i.e. modern graphics editions of the original C&C and Red Alert.

There's also the C&C Ultimate collection that has every game they ever made. It's not cheap though https://www.amazon.ca/Command-Conquer-Ultimate-Collection-Computer/dp/B0098VNKDQ
