It's literally the most pirated show ever. You don't need to ask here. Just look up "game of thrones torrent" and you're golden.

Unless you'd prefer not to steal content. :biggrin1:

The providers of which are waiting for the knock on the door.

This is a pretty clear cut criminal act.

Anyone know a good one?
The fact that you have to ask this means you have no idea about the communities.

Question - Mac or PC?

If you are on a MAC you are pretty damn safe. I'm kinda out of the game but I still haven't heard about any real MAC viruses.

PC. Well if you don't know what you are doing and you DL from the wrong torrent site your PC will get aids and DIE. Ok maybe not that bad but you are at risk.

Safe, Free (I think) but Complicated
- Newsgroups
- login into the right channels and DL to your hearts content.
- finding the right channel is a pain
- learning how to even navigate news groups are a pain.
- I used to get all my pirated stuff from there.

Risky, Free

- Pirate Bay

Safe-ish, Free, But LOT of reading.
- REDIT
- I quickly found some links to stream the shows.
- you might find someone to talk to you about other sites.

Safe, Expensive, and nearly impossible to get
- TorrentLeech
- It's a members only community
- About $100 CDN a year.
- Access to a giant file repository
- crazy DL speeds.
- If you pay there is no ratio
- Invite and recommendations only
- No I will not invite you. If you screw up it effects my status.
- You might find someone on Redit to invite you.

NOTE - Nothing is free. You either pay with learning time, or $$

Who knows.

I gave it chances years ago watching season 1. The most boring show I'd seen. Friends were all drooling that it's like Lord of the Rings. What I saw was a bunch of people in a mediveal setting whine and complain.

Granted, I only watched 4-5 episodes, but I had enough.

If you want a private torrent site - https://privatehd.to/ everything they post is usually 99% high quality and episodes come out 30 min after the show releases. If you need an invite I can always send but just note that seeding is a must :)

Anyone know a store from which I can steal some clothes, a TV or a loaf of bread?

Exactly.

The OP needs to simply subscribe to the movie network for 20 bucks a month.

The producers of this show pour their hearts and souls and money into the production of this show. They deserve to be paid for their work.

I wonder if Keebler elf is willing to work for free? Or any of the other posters above advocating stealing ? No?

I would gladly pay $20/month to subscribe ONLY to HBO or TMN. The problem is this is not possible. Our cable providers would require that I sign up for services I do not want just for the privilege of paying more for TMN. This is the problem in Canada. I, and many other Canadians, are more than willing to pay but the service we want is unavailable in our country. So what is the solution? Streaming.

So why not just buy the DVD's when they come out then? At least that way you're not a thief because right now, that's what you (and the rest of you) are.

Do you work for free?

Do you think it right that people should work for free just because it's possible to steal their labour?

You could also easily subscribe to a skinny cable service and get TMN all at a reasonable cost per month.

In my case, I subscribe to Bell Fibe in a package deal that includes a home phone, internet and TV including TMN.

Or just get Kodi. Free. Get exodus. Free. Stream. Free.
Exodus is done, try Gen Reborn.

Bingo. And before anyone jumps on to the "Netflix has it too" I am not paying more for half of what the US gets, and if I am going to have to jump through hoops to change my IP to a US based, etc - I am not going to bother. I will simply stream.

Plus I have worked for free plenty of times, and people rip of my designs, and codes all the time. There are a few agencies who have my code running on their sites and I have been out of the game for a while, so ya - I am good. Thanks

Here's the thing, I DO buy the DVDs when they come out which is why I don't feel bad about streaming the content. I realize some don't buy them but that's not me. I like rewatching my fave shows so it's worth it to me to have the DVDs. However, there is no way in hell I will give Bell more money than I already do for my cell service. Our cable providers do not deserve my money. I would much prefer to pay HBO directly. I also used to download a lot of music prior to ITunes. Now, I have no problem paying for what I consume. As I said before, many other Canadians feel the same way. Give us the option to purchase the services we want and Canadians will pay.

I just don't find the packages offered by our providers to be good value for the money. I don't need a home phone, I pay less than half what Bell wants for a much better internet package and I don't watch broadcast TV. The packages available are not what I want so streaming is the only option.

If you buy the DVD's then I really have no problem with you downloading now. But I would say that 99.9% of the people out there just steal content and never buy the DVDs ever and it's stealing no matter how you justify it to yourself. (I.e. you'll be damned if you're going to give Bell any more money.)

I'd like a free new BMW too. I don't think I should have to pay for it though. (Just like all the kids who figure they should get a free university education because they don't want to pay for it.) But I figure that you need to pay for that new BMW, just like you need to pay at least something towards that university education. It's the same thing as stealing content. If you want to watch the content, you need to pay for it.

People who steal content are just thieves and they simply don't want to pay for it and they figure it's ok. I disagree.

My balance between seeing a show right away without paying for crap cable packages and still supporting the cast & crew is to download it when it comes out online and then buy it when it comes out on Amazon. Any series/movie I have truly enjoyed has an equivalent hardcopy DVD or Blu-Ray on my shelf. I also love instrumental music (scores) so I tend to buy the soundtrack CDs too when they come out, especially for Game of Thrones (Ramin Djwaldi does great work).

As for where to find it, the torrent age is in decline so you need VPNs to protect your identity. Now only the most popular stuff (i.e. GoT) is easily available, and everything else dries up pretty quick if you dally too far behind the release date...
