Protective armour for the dragons, didn't they all die?...as I predicted.
Cersei is now in a position of power, the Dothraki consumed and the Unsullied thinned...did their leader die? Did Tormont, Jamie and Brianna survive the crush of the dead?
For a moment I thought the beloved Hound was making chicken soup. Kudos to him and Beric (played by Natalie Dormer's older brother Richard) for buying Arya time - although the later used up his nine lives.

Man would it suck to end up dying to some mercenary in Cersei's Golden Company after you just survived the apocalypse at Winterfell... It will be interesting to see how this plays out. How do you top that epic battle without it feeling like an afterthought? We'll see.

malata pecado, I like Maise Williams, she's done more character work than Sophie Turner. Arya is one of my favorite characters in the show, I gave a fist pump at the end.
Same with Lyanna Mormont. Got to give her props too.

Speaking of "hot as fuck" I watched an episode of Cardinal before GoT. Gothic crime drama that only Canadians can do (Americans would fuck it up with melodrama), set in North Bay. Karine Vanasse is downright smokin as Detective Lise Delorme.

I was kind of disappointed in episode 3. So many characters with nothing to do. They did so much to build it up. The dragon glass, the velarian steel. The starks had many great fighters and the NK had his generals. They should have had Jamie and Brienne face off against one. The houd could have killed one. Tormund and Gendry coukd have faced one too. Then save the NK for later. Or have him go south to Kings Landing and give Cerse a visit. This battle was supposed to unite the starks and Danny's army. So they coukd have marched south United.
Why build up the Dorthraki for 8 years to just kill them all in 5 secs
