I don't know, but seems to me that Jon snow is very dead. The Red head witch turned from sexy to a senior citizen, went to bed naked and I don't know what that means. :beguiled:

Maybe she's losing her powers and all those thinking that she will resurrect Jon are mistaken. Arya is now blind and the bitch is bugging her. I thought Arya would be the hero at the end and revenge the Starks. :fencing:

I'm probably going to watch the last season again as too much time goes by between seasons and I forget. I forgot how Arya became blind.

I'm not so worried about Arya. She's continuing her fighting lessons

Sansa is looking good, she looks ready to kick some ass

Melissandre has amazing skills of disguise. Imagine she can't disguise herself next - but not as a redhead hottie, but as Jon Snow

Or she can just resurrect him

We can only hope

Obviously Melisande has the ability to shape shift somehow.

Wondering if she is going to shape shift into Jon Snow now?

The whole Dorrn angle is a little stupid frankly. The big bad body guard goes down at the hands of a little girl like a sack of potatoes. Then Tristane is stupid and is easily killed.

Also, it was a very short episode. They could have made it 10 or 15 minutes longer.

Melisande looks like she lost faith in her wonder women amulet, but her command of magic must still be strong if she can make herself young looking forever.
They could stretch out Jon's stasis for 4 episodes until she either raises him or he's reborn in fire.

Next episode I expect Tormund, Wun Wun & Ghost are going to decimate the Nights Watch rebels and take command of the wall
Hopefully we see Jon warg into Ghost and get a few kills.

The big storyline, I expect Sansa to go on a mission, flaying some Frey's, ending with the Battle of Winterfell (Bastard Bowl if Jon's around)
and after 10 episodes she becomes Queen of the North.

It is very possible that Sansa rises to greatness.

I say that only because she is a weak and semi-annoying character.

Danny is too driven by emotion and to steal a theme from Tywin Lannister, a great king must be a wise king. Danny is not wise. Not in the least.

I still have hope for Jon Snow, Melissandre will resurrect him. If he is truly dead, I riot lol jks. I was confused by the significance of the Melissandre young to old scene. I saw it as she gave up, but who knows? Arya is going to get her revenge, she'll learn to fight blind. At some point, when they feel she has learnt her lesson, they will give back her sight. As for Dany, I feel if she is reunited with Tyrion, he will give her sound advice. She can start making wise decisions through him. Right now though, she seems screwed. If only she had better control of her dragon.

Yeah me too, forgot a lot of the last season, need to watch a few old episodes to freshen my memory....a little recap in the beginning would have helped..

I think it's the necklace amulet that keeps her looking young - the black jewel at the front briefly turns red as she's taking it off, suggesting that it 'powers' her youthful illusion. That means all the guys she's been banging have been banging granny (but boy does her young body have a nice rack...nice everything actually)

I don't Melisandre is going to raise him from the dead, that seems too easy and convenient. I suspect the King of the night walkers, will do something and he becomes walker and human mix. That way he's supernatural and still has human emotion, just a guess.

I suspect this season will be the rise of Sansa Stark. I also believe Dany will never return to Westeros, but will eventually build a kingdom or empire over there.

That necklace gives the illusion of a young beautiful woman, but does anybody remember this scene from season 4?

So either this is more than it seems, or they messed up. I think it's something we just didn't realize at the time. The show is just so layered, you can't pick everything up!

You will recall that Selyse appears very uncomfortable in that scene... maybe this is why? "She" sees the old Melisandre, whereas we the viewer, sees the hot Melisandre...

I think the scene with Melisandre is just supposed to re emphasize that she's a very old and powerful witch who is capable of many more things not yet known to us. Who knows how old she actually is and where her powers came from? The magic necklace lets her appear probably as she was when she was young, like Dorian Grey.

If she's capable of doing that, who knows what else she's capable of as Sir Davos was hinting at...Breaking them out of their room with 40 armed guards outside, resurrecting Jon Snow?

Melding her life force into Jon Snow?

I think the viewing audience will have a very hard time with Jon Snow being Melisande in any way shape or form.

I'd rather he just stay dead than be Melisande shape shifting into him, or melding with him to create some hybrid of sorts

Yeah, I think that's it. Selyse acts too strange and the conversation between the leads to something we(viewers) are missing. Of course I had to watch the bathtub scene, a few extra times. :D

I know it has nothing to do with what you mentioned, but after watching the video I must say she's hot but I like bigger areola on that size tit. The nipples are small.

There is no question about Jon being dead, the question is when/how he is reborn/resurrected, that's gonna happen for sure. The Red Priestess will likely doing it, she is going through the same phase as the other Red Priest (Thoros) who brought back Beric Dondarrion but it was only after he lost his own faith in the Red god, just like Mellisandre has lost her own faith. A long shot in bringing him back would be Bran.

John Snow will be resurrected on his funeral pyre because he is a Targaryen (they do well in flames - see Daenerys) - it will have nothing to do with Mellisandre. He will come out of the fire with his sword in flames and it will be called Lightbringer (as Mellisandre prophesied) to be used to conquer the white walkers. Now that we know Mellisandre is an old hag she could very well be a priestess of the Targaryen's from a long time ago when they were in Valayria. When John rises from the flames she will claim he is Azor Ahai (and not Stannis as she had previously thought).
