FYI - Purge Unnecessary files on Cell Phone

Man the amount of files stored in the cell phone by the OS is silly. I had to manually delete a lot and got back 7 gig worth of space.

If you want to delete some files here are the locations from my Android phone. I have a Oneplus cell phone, hence the folders with oneplus.

Internal shared storage\Android\media\com.whatsapp\WhatsApp\Media
Internal shared storage\Android\obb\com.oneplus.gallery
Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.oneplus.gallery\recyclebin
Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.oneplus.gallery
\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.oneplus.soundrecorder\files
\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.google.android.gm\cache

Or you can do a " Cache " search in windows explorer, and all cache folders will be listed of the Cell phone - ( you must be wired to the cell phone itself to do this about, like extended HDD, 30 folders show up and half are empty ) - and go into each cache folder to empty it out.
Whatsapp, facebook, emojis, voice records, pictures in text, take up most of the chunk for files.

Also I have offloaded all my photos from the cell. If I want carry any pictures with me I reduce the size of the Pictures and upload it again. ( Faststone Photo Resizer)

Always backup the phone before you purge. Never know when technology fails.
