I just bought a 2 month old used sofa that woulda cost 13,500 at DeBoers... bought used in Sun Classifieds for 3,000.

they gave me the original receipt and I returned one of the ottomans that I didn't like and got 900 credit to future purchase!

Interesting topic, any suggestions for places to get good used furniture?

Furniture costs a ton and you never really get your money out of it in my opinion. I'd rather spend a bit less on the furniture and more on the home theatre.

How about suggestions for good couches to lounge on while watching movies (i.e. good to lie on or sit). Heck being terb let's throw this out there too what about good furniture to include as part of your sex routine.

I saw a guy a couple of weeks ago outside Rochester Furniture on Dundas(W. of 427), carrying a sign that read "WARNING- ROCHESTER FURNITURE RIPPED ME OFF".

That guy is still around? I saw that guy a couple of years ago driving by on my way out to Mississauga. My friend who was driving said to me that he has been around there doing that off and on for a long time.
