As poolasrus points outIn the emoji world egg plant means cock, becuase it sort of resembles one ...just like the emoji for chocolate ice cream means poop.... it's so hard to stay current these days.... don't get me started on "Netflix and chill" :)

It's my understanding that the gun emoji means or can mean "killer" in this case "Killer duos" as in intense, hot wild. It should not be interpreted as anything threatening or implying violence. I do agree though for us non-millennials it's quite off putting to see images of guns used so casually.

I think when visiting (or, even calling) these young providers who do this we should remind them that many of their clients don't value/understand/relate to the cleverness of their emoji use and the older guys are more likely their base clientelle so it's in their best interest to resist it.
