The Breslau Hotel! I remember it well, but THAT was way longer ago than 2002! LOL
Same with the nursing home beside Cambridge hospital: Video dance bar... Ballingers or something like that I think.

I miss Lulu's actually.
 
The Breslau Hotel had a bar in it called the Hawks Nest... sort of an unofficial home away from home for Ronnie Hawkins. How about the downtown strip joint can't remember the name but spent way to many hours there.
 
Ballingers was owned by 3 ballinger brothers. It was the old Tudor Tavern.The boys moved to TO to open about 2-4 clubs. Best was the Big Bop on Richmond.Then they moved to NYC to open clubs.They thought because of success in TO that they would have NYC in their pocket.Big surprise in NYC. You dont just walk in and open clubs. The `GUYS`in NYC who control garbage collection,constuction,labour unions,& everthing else there educated them. YOU know who the guys are.... The Ballingers had their ass handed to them andthey left town with nothing...thats the `STORY`out there.
