Now NYT backs the truckers: Editorial Board says 'allowing nonviolent protest is important in a polarized society' and reminds Trudeau that he supported farmers blocking highways in India for a full year

Yes, now we take civics lessons from grandchild of Nazi collaborators. Oh, no maybe it's Russian disinformation. Or maybe not... A rotten fruit from a rotten tree.

I haven't heard anyone condemning peaceful, non extortive protest.

Wow, that's low even for you.

Here's the thing, jc.
They aren't stopping people from protesting, just from using their trucks instead of feet.
And they are just stopping foreign and dirty money.

You're not worried about the FINTRAC news, are you?

The only thing I'm worried is the government invoking powers it does not need to invoke. As for "low" it is what it is.

Wow. Her grandfather. Seriously? Is she a Nazi? Are there credible reports she supports fascist ideals or is anti-Semitic? I mean, what did your grandfather do? Was he a horse rapists? Does that make you one?

And you should probably be the last person to talk about civics, since you seem to support groups that want to ignore our laws, constitution and democratically elected officials.

He has shown his true colours numerous times. Nothing is too low for him.

I lost it one time when he went super low on me. It cost me a couple of days when I told him what I thought of him. I try to show more restraint now, but it isn't easy.

The real freedom convoy
I'm 100% sure they weren't fighting for their government to declare a state of emergency so that they could tow trucks, revoke operator/business licences, and confiscate money from the bank accounts of citizens.

If they knew THAT was what they were fighting for, they might never have hit the beach at Juno.

Looks like most of the people at the protests took government CERB and COVID money.
Or American insurrectionist money.

But if you have nothing to hide.....

You wouldn’t believe what a simple ignore button can accomplish.

I don't know how she feels about cooperating with real Nazis. On the other hand I don't see her taking a stand when her "leader" talks and acts like the people her grandfather found acceptable. Rotten.fruit from a rotten tree is not much of a stretch.

I guess we'll have to take your word on what her grandfather found acceptable, you are the resident expert.
