Free video conversion program?

Hey out there!

I'm hoping someone can recommend a free video conversion program please? I need to convert some Mpegs to Mov files (to play on the Wii!). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Warning, though: it's easier to use on command-line-friendly OSs. There is a version for Windows, but that doesn't make it very user-friendly.

Generally, the simplest form of the command would be something like:
ffmpeg -i input.mpeg output.mov

Try handbrake.fr it usually has a lot of templates to use and it might have settings for wii.

I use Super - from http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html and so far it has handled everything I've needed it to do. Sometimes you will have to play around a bit to get the right options set, but the program is pretty fast so you will know what works soon enough.
