"Toronto, ON, October 30, 2006: The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has ordered Canadian company Incredible Electronics Inc. to pay at least $2.2 million to cover legal fees stemming from a recent legal battle relating to grey and black market satellite distribution........."

There is a rumor that the owner of Incredible has fled the country and is liquidating his stock, hence opening the warehouse to the public and the super cheap prices.

There also some tie in between Ariza and the infamous Blackbird FTA company that time bombed thier users, then hit them with a manditory $85 "upgrade fee" to "fix" them. One of the receivers on sale at Incredible looks exactly like a "silver" version of the Blackbird (ST2000).

Updates
I loaded the Viewsat clone with a clone kill bin and it killed the clone as expected.

They also now have the original Viewsat Exteme (non-clone) for $185 (cash, no tax)

anyone heard of buzz box ? made by ariza.

I'm thinking of getting one because a friend has one. I just wanted to get an idea of the prices though.

will most of these guys that sell them to you do the initial programming for you included in the price?

if anyone else is interested in getting a dish, let me know. I wanted to get a couple more people to buy one as well so I can get a better price.

if you sell them please PM me as well and give me some prices.

Checked the FTA forums, a CW600 will not download via a USB to serial converter. You need to find PC with a real serial port.

It's because the USB/Serial port only puts out 3-5 VDC while a real PC serial port puts out 6-12 VDC.

It might be cheaper to find a FTA unit that will work with your USB/Serial converter (Coolsat) or with a SD card port (Pansat 3500) or USB port (Viewsat Ultra)

Viewsat extreme 2000 works great for me.
All Viewsat models seem to have excellent support also.

I would say the Coolsat 5000 or 6000. It's much easier to setup than a Viewsat 2000 Extreme, it's more intuiative to use, the remote is more user friendly, and I found the picture to be noticably sharper.

That being said, Coolsat support is really bad as of late where Viewsat support is number 1 right now.

I haven't tried a Viewsat Ultra or any of the Pansats though.

FTA Satellite TV in my apratment building

I am moving into an apartment on the 15th floor next month. I will be facing East side. Anyone can give me an idea if the dish will need to face a certain direction to receive good signal ?

The sats (91,110,119) are straight south and as well as southwest. If you are facing east, I would think you are SOL. Check with a compass.

There's not much to the east (61.5)

I'm personally leary of Ariza because of the possible tie-in to the infamous Blackbird FTA.

No dealer in his right mind will risk loading a FTA box for you. It's totally legal to sell FTAs when they are stock. As soon as it's loaded, he got potential big legal problems. He might however, give you the name/number of a friend.

Unless you are doing major quantity (100+ units), don't expect much of a discount.

I just pickup a Sonicview sv1000 it took 7 Mins to get it up and going!!

If you were to pick up FTA box you could pickup anything but most people use it to get Dishnetwork. Points that most people use is W 110 and 119

Most likely your DirecTV dish is pointed to 101W. There is nothing on 101W that a FTA can see. Your other options for FTA are :
1. Repoint the existing dish from 101W to 91W for BEx
2. Modify existing dish with a new bracket and LNB. Repoint from 101W to 110W and 119W for DN
