Buddy hit me up with a text to remind me to ask here, any solid reputable places where he can take the "family jewels" to sell them? lol
I forgot of one I was told somewhere in North York, but since he's lower Toronto anything around there? Or at least get an honest appraisal.

Most are gargage, Harold the jewlery buyer, russel oliver, cash for gold etc, they try to rip you off as much as they can. I had a $2500 diamond ring I got back after failed engagment,

I know worth less but those fucks were trying for $200, even had Oliver Russels asshole kid get out $200 from the cash and wave it at me like I was a dog doing tricks

Try kijji with an apprasial of course, you will still lose a fair bit but dont engage any of the cash for jewerly places

To bad it is not dilithium crystal, you can convert it as a reaction controller. The matter/antimatter reactor would power your house and car forever.

Jewelry is a joke, finding a place to sell it back to and the ROI is low. Even with receipt.

If you get 20% or more of the appraisal price you must be happy. Oliver never pay more than 10% of your diamond. Yes Kijiji is good idea but you must be careful. That site full of criminals who can't wait to rob you. Meet the buyer on a police station

If it is gold or other precious metals then take it to a precious refinery and bypass, the middlemen shysters like the ” Cashman” etc .,,,,
these guys take your gold to the precious metal refinery anyway after they lowball you.
The refinery will melt your gold and give you the spot price on that day for whatever gold is trading at minus a small percentage.
After market jewelry prices and resales however are nebulous.
