Trudeau gave these “truckers” much mercy and exercised incredible restraint considering the domestic terrorism and attempted coup. Some of them are not even truckers but seem to be dejected, disillusioned dissidents on social services with a grudge. They are a lost generation and wasted resource and it is so very unfortunate that their energies and efforts could not be put towards positive and tangible pursuits. Maybe the government that they tried to depose can help to rehabilitate them as other governments would have crushed this insurrection with appalling speed and brutality.
