The reality is there is no viable opposition to Ford yet that folks can cling to. The quicker Crombie can be anointed leader and start making some noise the quicker you might get your wish. Also, many do want more new housing and feel the red tape and rules hinder progress. Albeit these will not be low-income homes. The DeGasperis aren't into building nonprofit housing and this protected land battle goes back to the McGuinty era. Guaranteed DeGas lined Ford's pocketbook nicely over the years to achieve their goal.

Imagine if this had been Justin's play? The righties would be crawling out of their skin with Pee Pee putting his glasses back on and screaming from the top of a tractor-trailer. LMAO

I think the viable option is going to be Marit Stiles.
The liberals are still missing in action though even so they whipped DoFo's ass in the last bi-election.

DoFo is just as corrupt in every ministry if you look close enough. Health care and Education would be second and third for privatization for the sake of donor profit.

I don't care which way they try to spin this, there's no way the housing minister should've been in charge of the selection process. Something worth as much as this should've been open to all developers and there needs to be transparency and oversite. Non of that happened here. We'll see how this plays out, but at the moment, it looks really bad on them. Stupid politicians.

Yes, DoFo seems intent on not backing down but this story won't die.

People agree we need housing built. The government is doubling down on that message. But the way they went about it really stinks. You're right in that it's not going away. DF's going to have to do something and I think he will. Just as soon as he sees that he's losing support. People who hate him, hate anything he does so nothing will change there. The problem for him now, is there's many who voted for him who are equally pissed off.

Reminds me of this. Could it lead to voters electing a new government?

Remember that people were charged for deleting emails in the gas plant scandal?
DoFo's team were all deleting away, according to the AG.

Once everyone starts looking DoFo is going to start panicking.
