I first read your last line as "sleep with me" and thought, "well, okay!" ;-)

Living large on the harbour.
Four golden retrievers, 60-65 pounds each.

Two cats, about 13 pounds each.

They all sleep wherever, but the dogs tend to sleep on the bedroom floor, or in the hall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Makes for an interesting obstacle course when getting up to pee in the night.

Pet dog 65 lbs sleeps at front door. When visitors come sleeps in other room.3 cats sleeps in various locations all around my bed ie... on top of dresser, behind head board or at foot of bed during the day on my chairs under the dining table and yes one does like it in a cardboard box that is on top of my computer center. One turtle sleeps on top of platform in his acquarium and one budgie sleeps in its cage.

Dog, Shepherd cross, 90 lbs......we have a bed from him in the family room, and another in the bedroom, he just leaves too much hair everywhere to let him up on the furniture

I found this recipe on the net

If anyone tries it let me know how they turn out and if your dog enjoyed them.

Dog Biscuits

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg -- beaten

Flavoring: Meat drippings, broth or water from canned tuna (enough to make a stiff dough).

Combine flour, powdered milk and garlic powder in a medium sized bowl. Add beaten egg, flavoring and mix well with hands. Dough should be very stiff. If necessary add more flavoring.

On a well floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with shaped cookie cutters of your choice.

Place biscuits on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

we are sadly down to 2 dogs. 3 cats (soon to be one) ARGH I hate old age and big pet decisions. 3 yr old horse, 7 pigs, 3 cows one is only 3 weeks old, a pile of chickens and rabbits, a pond with multiple koi and my sons turtle, AND a partridge in a pear tree...

So glad I moved WAY WAY north of the city. Best semi-retirement decision I made!

I wish I lived in the 'country' so that I could have chickens! (my favourite animal!)

I'm in the city, so for now I only have 2 cats. Huge white maine coons. The grandfather to one of my cats is Verismo Leonetti Reserve Red although my kitty isn't that big, he's only about 25lbs. My other kitty is smaller, same breed, at about 20lbs. They sleep either on the bed or on top of the laundry.

The only other pets I have now are fish. A bunch of freshwater predators in a huge tank. These are the kind of fish you need to keep a lid on the tank for because some of them would jump out (and one of them - the lungfish - would survive without water too!) Some people have guard dogs, I have guard fish! Yes, they would all bite you too, so if you ever come over, *do not* stick your fingers in the tank! Oh, and they aren't allowed on the bed :p

If you keep chickens, do you let them outside during the summer and keep them inside all winter?

Australian Sheppard...10 weeks old. He is the smartest little guy. Likes to take me for a run nightly already. He sleeps on my bed and surprisingly no messes as of yet. Best decision I made 2 weeks ago to get him. Already this mans best bud.:D

2 cats - about 14 yrs old. 7-8 lbs. Usually sleep on the couch upstairs, dining room chairs, or couch downstairs.

1 dog - Bullmastiff 8 mons. 3 wks, 95 lbs and still growing. He sleeps on his pillow in the livingroom, or on his pillow in our room.

He's also started eating our baseboards now. Our last dog, as a pup, had a "I wanna eat the corners of walls" phase. Didn't know I lived in a gingerbread house. lol
