I heard he has some HK gangsters after him over this. They run a lot of that industry and he obviously fucked up hard.Berlin said:As for Edison thet singer/actor, that mofo left the city as soon as shit hit the fan, what balls ( no pun ) he has eh ?
Actually, a few of them did. Gillian ( one half of Twins, that super HK singing duo ) got the most of it since her prior public image has always been sqeeky clean, the pure as snow and fragile little girl, whose fan base span from little school kids to seniors.Mongrel4u said:Why is he the onlyone catching shit for this? Didnt these girls consent to this???
Mao's link reported something similar. But is the mafia thingy fictional or factual, that's for those who care to find out.blaze69 said:I heard he has some HK gangsters after him over this. They run a lot of that industry and he obviously fucked up hard.
His "shit" is purely for lack of Common sense in protecting the reputations of the women he was seeing.Mongrel4u said:Why is he the onlyone catching shit for this? Didnt these girls consent to this???
Listen to yourself. He photographed very famous women having sex. Both parties are idiots, him and the women. I tend not to let women photograph me having sex, and I'm not famous. If you let someone point a camera at you with your clothes off, assume those photos will be on the Net at some point. Privacy is over.Aardvark154 said:His "shit" is purely for lack of Common sense in protecting the reputations of the women he was seeing.
The photographs were stolen from Edison Chen’s laptop when he took it in for repairs
They have caused heated debate about the internet and privacy laws, a major Hong Kong Police operation, and finally the intervention of Donald Tsang, Hong Kong's chief executive quoted yesterday as saying "[this is] a serious issue, which demanded further follow-up".
Acording to the Hong Kong Police 1,300 images were stolen from the computer, and they have launched a Hong Kong-wide manhunt for the culprits, including anyone who had uploaded or distributed pictures. So far they have made nine arrests.
I like photos as much as the rest of us. But these are photos of another nature, this whole thread should really be far more like the discussion of sexual exploitation on other threads over the past few weeks since the arrests in Toronto.![]()

Practically yes, legally I'm not so sure about that, not just here but certainly not in Hong Kong. However, as the shockingly true advertising tagline for a movie in my younger days went: "In every life, with every love, with every trust - there comes the possibility of - betrayal."Mao Tse Tongue said:Listen to yourself. t'was a bad move on his part to send his laptop off to be repaired with those images on it bu tits not like he intentionally did it.Aardvark154 said:His "shit" is purely for lack of Common sense in protecting the reputations of the women he was seeing.

On that part, surely He's a big idiot.Mongrel4u said:t'was a bad move on his part to send his laptop off to be repaired with those images on it
Hmm... actually the laws in HK are a bit different. The exposed female celebs can in fact sue Edison for damages if they are willing to prove that Edison did not try his best in protecting and securing his copyrighted properties, the leaked photos . But will the girls do it, at this point not likely. Its not up to him to protect their reputation..they are adults and responsible for protecting their own reputation.
That's right. Good job, Edison!fuji said:It's still amazing that he got these women to do these pics. They're not lingerie photos, they are hard core porn.
