In all fairness...

I think some people here took Merryland to serious. I never took him serious at all right from the very start. I thought his questions were just stupid dumb shit to get attention and have some fun. So in other words all his posts and him as well I took as a big joke.

Having said... some of his stuff did IMO pushes the envelope a bit. Especially lately. I don't know... maybe he is running out of material. He should have been given a warning though... to tone it down a bit... before being outright banned.

Just my 2cents.


P.S. Mods... could you please remove goober's signature and avatar privileges? Many will thank you I'm sure.

It has always been my belief that message boards like this cannot be a democracy. They are the territory of the owners and as such should be run at their discretion. It is really none of my business but may sometimes be a matter of interest why someone is banned. But ultimately if the owner wants to ban for arbitrary reasons, or reasons that contravene basic human rights, then it is their privelege. Overall the behavior, involvement, and creativity of the moderators makes a board what it is. The quality of the postings is directly proportional to the quality of the people who are attracted to the site and enticed to remain. This is by no means a suck up. I belong to some boards where you are limited to postings that have to be so carefully structured and so closely to the topic of the board you wonder if you are in a cyber community or posting among robots. You havent seen arbitrary rules until you've tried posting to sites like lowcarbfriends. Just try and go off topic there. They delete your posts. You have to contribute thousands of posts before you are even allowed into the lounge areas. You dont have to like every thing the mods do here to appreciate the site. Do you?

Is Air France plane crash a close warning from The Lord ?

As all of you know that the miracle of Air France close call plane crash is incredible.
My question is this :

1. Is this miracle a weapons of mass approval or disapproval from The Lord about all the weapons of mass sin on TERB board ?

2. I could argue either way: As a weapons of mass approval since over 300 people were saved in this incredible close to death. The Lord must approve all the activities on TERB here to save so many people.

3. On the other hand, I could also argue that since it happened in Toronto, The Lord must use it as a weapons of mass disapproval of all the weapons of mass sin on this TERB board.

4. What do you all think ?
