Yeah, I can see the tires flying apart due to the tremendous centrifugal force being applied to them at those speeds....
I also just remembered the part where James states that the engineers went to the F1 testing facility and asked if they could borrow the wind tunnel. Then the F1 guys said sorry, but ours doesn't go that high. LOL
I mean, seriously, a road car that is faster than an F1 race car?
I also like the line: It takes 275 hp to get the car to 150 mph and another 600 hp for the next 100 mph...(or something like that). Amazing how much force the air puts on a vehicle at those speeds. Kind of reminds me of the SR71 Black Bird with it's titanium fuselage. At twice the speed of sound the friction of the air caused the fuselage to almost glow red hot...
Another interesting tidbit about speed: when the space shuttle hits max Q it is traveling at 32,500 ft per second....that's about 3.4 minutes to get from toronto to vancouver.....
