I should have watched the Napoli - Barca match, Juve vs Olympique was dull. Juve were indifferent and Lyon took advantage, they were looking ahead to Inter...which now will not happen.

Lazio could take advantage as Inter now has two games to make up. Rivals Roma took care of business making the loan deals for Mancini and Veretout permanent. The Frenchman has come on strong since not being selected for Russia2018.

I'll bend it like........
Liverpool is leading Premier League defending champions Man City by 22 after only 25 games. No team has ever dominated by so much. Andy Robertson and Alexander Arnold, their left and right backs, have no peers in the world. Virgil Van Dijk is among the best center backs. They have an embarrassment of riches in midfield. Their strike force of Mane, Firmino and Salah is as lethal as any. Only Mbappe, Neymar, Icardi at PSG is comparable. Yes, United 07/08 and Arsenal 01/02 were super teams. So is this edition of Liverpool. They will dominate the Premier League for many years to come and add to their collection of Champion League trophies. And they will build a shrine in front of Anfield in honor of Jurgen Klopp, the German who will conquer England without firing a shot.
Please stop telling me how great this Liverpool team is. They have lost more matches already than the 98/99 United Treble winners. Just lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup, routed by Watford, down to Atl Madrid. Should have lost to West Ham last week. They will win the League but they don't match up to some of the best Premier teams in history.

I'm pissed, more Serie A matches have been cancelled, since Rome is not affected, Lazio are justifiably taking advantage.

Mingia, get a grip people! This isn't The Bubonic Plague.

AC Milan getting spanked 0-2 at home by relegation candidate Genoa.

Juve looked listless against Lyon, they looked like tigers against Inter.

Aaron Ramsey best game as a zebra - if he could only stay healthy.

Awesome goal by Dybala.

If I may post about Danish players, it is interesting how two transfers have worked out.

Eriksen has not been the great savior for Inter.

Braithwaite on the other hand has risen to the occasion and played sensationally for Barcelona.

You can post about players from Andorra, if it pleases you Dane.

Btw is Jens Stryger Larsen on the National team, he deserves to be.

Yes he is, as is AC Andreas Christensen and Simon Kjaer. The Danish national team has good defenders.

That most likely means both the EURO and Olympics will be shifted into later in the year.

Perhaps even 2021.
I think next summer is the best idea. There are no major men's tournaments in 2012 except for Confederation Cup which nobody cares about.

So I guess they'll have to crown Juve as Serie A champions now if they cant play anymore this year, right??

Well, both Serie A and UEFA wants their share of incoming revenue, it at least from TV rights. Empty stadiums are a present reality.

The games still need to be played.

It would appear that the clubs would be better served by playing in empty stadiums; the clubs would get TV revenues. If the games are cancelled, they get nothing.

And the population in lockdown would love to have the games on TV.

Serie A just cancelled the entire season though (at least until further notice).

If it stays cancelled for 3 or 4 more weeks then I dont see how they are gonna cram all those make-up games into the schedule so close before the Euro

It breaks my heart, this will wreck Serie A far worse than Calciopoli.

However you could see it coming, Italy got to chummy with the PRC. The government saw it as easy money, the people resented it. The Peninsula is a mess, stuck down by a variant of Chinese medicine. They also botched the response...but at least no one was getting their head bashed in by whistle blowing.

Don't worry, the peninsula has weathered worse. It has been invaded many times much worse than by the Chinese.

People will continue to admire Italy, it's culture and cuisine. I know I will, even if I have cancelled my trip this spring.
