Apple Jacks cereal
I see that in the grocery store Top's over in Buffalo. I go shopping there about 3 times a year. Walking down their cereal isle brings back memory's for me. By the way their cereal isle is about 3x's the size of ours. Sugar for days lol

Candy Smokes!

Helped alleviate the frustration of not being able to buy cigarettes when your ten (and there were no cigarette machines around).

I used to go through a pack or two a day.

The original chipwich

lot's of knock offs out there but not nearly as good.

there was also this snack I like called skinny dipper if I recall the name. It was like this little pack of mini dried bread sticks and at the top had this chocolate dip.

I heard Coca Cola used to have cocaine in it, back in the 80's.
Yeah, the 1880's to be clear. Coca-Cola was named back in 1885 for its two "medicinal" ingredients: extract of coca leaves and kola nuts. Just how much cocaine was originally in the formulation is hard to determine, but the drink undeniably contained some cocaine in its early days.

Just to point out that none of the items noted so far qualifies as food. Candy and or drugs certainly, but not food. One food item no longer available in restaurants is calve's brains au beurre noir. Decently marbled pork with actual flavour that can be cooked without immediately becoming shoe-leather is also hard to find.

Pop Rocks, Fun-Dip, and Big League Chew are still sold at candy stores like Sugar Mountain or Suckers (on the Danforth - I'm sure there are other locations.)
