Honesty feeling down as I went to see a provider after discussing all other details and when I’m at the location she then asks for background which I provide. She than says she doesn’t see black guys. Really messed me up

You should not feel bad about that, Mate. It's her choice and her loss. There are plenty of good choices out there, in every stripe, size and race.

Post the providers link. I think that’s permitted.

this one is t the same ole though. This one was particularly annoying because OP actually went there to meet and got rejected on sight. Waste of time.
Exactly, she asks as I’m at the location at the agreed time
Exactly. That's not cool. I know there's not a lot of professionalism in this industry (save for a number of providers who seem to have some business sense, of course), but this is a shitty thing to do as a human being, never mind someone running a business.

To me, a provider has every right to select who they see and don't see, the same way we choose who we see and don't see. Is it racist? Yeah, completely, even if there's a "justification" behind it. Racism doesn't always mean you simply dislike someone of a particular background. In this line of work, it's often the assumption that someone is "more likely" to be a pimp or a thug, and that may be the experience of a provider, unfortunately. So yes, they do have the right to refuse service for any reason they choose, but it is also racist, no two ways about it. Doesn't make the provider a horrible person, but it most definitely limits the pool of potential clients by more than they probably think. I'm not a PoC, but ads that say "no black/asian/Indian etc. men" are a pass for me. It's just a turn off.

But geez, in this case, state this kind of thing upfront. This post alone likely cost this woman 1000's of dollars, and that's just not good business. And not because of the policy (though that doesn't help), it's simply because it was completely unprofessional of her to handle it this way.

I feel sorry for you. Did you ask if she is open to all ethnicity or races ?
If you did not, you will the next time. Trust me, you should cover all the bases.
Good luck on the next one.
