First time paranoid question?

How often do these girls get tested for STDs? I realize that they all require condoms for sex but have read that you can catch STDs including HIV from licking vagina as well? Has anybody ever had any issues catching an STD from one of the providers in the Durham forum? Can any of the ladies let me know what is common practice for testing?

I am excited to get into the hobby but want to make sure I am being safe.

do yourself a favour and don't see an SP until you can reconcile these things in your mind.

IDK how many SPs I have seen over the years. more than a few. at no point did I worry about STDs. I am not an fool - I know there are risks, just as there are risks with hook ups from the bar. matter of fact I have felt paranoid on a number of occaisons after picking up some random at a bar and being 3 sheets to the wind and not remembering the next day whether I used protection or not.

I have bailed on some freaky looking SPss who looked high as fuck on who knows what and I generally try to avoid those who are at the bottom end of the price scale...maybe that doesn't do much but if makes me feel better about the risks.

to my knowledge you cannot get the hiv from licking pussy. these days I am more worried about HPV causing throat cancer...LOL

but seriously work this out before you indulge and you will have a better time and have no regrets.

Gdurham has some good advice. If the girl looks sketchy or is drunk or high then I usually will walk. The more composed the girl the more I feel she is taking care of herself. I would go with a well reviewed and highly regarded SP for the first time. I think of it as a one night stand where I'm paying the girl instead of the bar for a night of drinks.

Also another question. I've recently moved from Ottawa and was wondering a good clinic to get tested myself in Durham I just don't think I want to go to the family doctor I have.

Stick to well reviewed and reputable ladies. Stay away from the wacko's and anyone that even has the hint of controversy.

ALWAYS use a condom, and NEVER go bareback for FS and you'll be fine.

As gdurham has said, your risks are the same with a clubgirl... actually, you might even be safer with a (reputable) SP, due to they are more in tune with the risks themselves.

This. Consult your doctor about HiV and HpV causes. Tell him you're bound to see your first SP and just can't get to book because of these threats. There will be a slight chance of getting HiV from doing Oral or digits. That is if you have an open wound in your mouth(specially on females) or finger.

The one I use is at Oshawa center, I would say that some ladys are better then others,.So I found the lady I like the most works on Mondays, I think u do have to pre boo

There are Sexual Health Clinics in the Oshawa Centre and Pickering Town Centre.

Majority of staff and people that visit are female so, if you are at all self-conscious, you may want to just use a Walk-In Clinic. There are plenty to choose from.

So Amy... are you saying that Sexual Health Clinics are a good place to meet SPs? :wink:

I've searched before. Knew of the one in the OC, haven't been yet so I doubt know exactly where it is in the mall. I simply asked to get some advice from the Terb community. Maybe there was a good one that I didn't or couldn't find online. I thank everyone for the info. I might go to the Pickering Town Centre just to be further from home. Knowing its mostly women means I might remember to comb my hair.
