son of a bitch...so many god damn extension breaking updates...hassle doin the constant updates on Linux especially.

I am gonna try switchin back to Opera, can get about 90% of the same funcionality as Firefox+extensions I use.

I have a few, but not enough to destroy FF... lol
NoScript, Ghostery, Adblock (and 2 other Adblock adds for it lol), FlashBlock, Menu Editor (recommend this one), download status bar, status-4evar,

Linux has been doing a lot of FF auto updates lately but it doesn't bother me since FF is hardly ever used. Chrome or Opera do all that is needed for me and faster than FF....

I try not to use too many addons...crappy when blocker stuff doesn't work when a new version hits...gotta block them ads and manage cookies.

most of the time I just install extensions when needed, or disable them if it is somethin I use more often...especially for webdevelopment testing, vulnerability testing XSS fuzzing n stuff...quick proxy changer, etc. also tweaks to make Firefox more efficient on netbook, to autohide menu and statusbar, etc. I customized toolbar so there is only one with addressbar crammed into the right half.

I'm with you. Constant problems since the update about a week ago. There was a patch a couple days ago and it's not as bad but still not fixed.

For business i find most downloads expect only IE or FF.

This is the only occasional problem I have with Opera. A few secure business sites will not accept Opera even though it is more secure than IE or FF.
