My son went to Texas A&M Fire School after grad did a stint at BIG WHITE BC VFD GREAT learning experience for Fire fighting now currently 4 years Fulltime in Niagara area. There were 35 Canadians in his platoon in Texas ALL now working as FT FF.
A lot of people moan and groan about FF schedules time off etc. But they are the first people they want to see in an emergancy. Most times people run OUT of a building while the FF runs IN!!
