Everyone needs oil - so Suncor is a sure thing.
Meta might become big because the gaming et cetera. But there is big competition - like Microsoft, Google and other big tech companies will go into that market too. So, Meta/FB won't be able to dominate the market.
I don't know anything about SEA, Heartland or Cleveland Cliffs.
Well, Suncor provides oil for the entire Canada and other countries - no just Toronto.
Not sure about the mining - since Covid-19 - ravaging the economy. Also, with US destroying the trading line - and having trade war with China - it definitely doesn't help either.
For the biotech companies like Pfizer, Moderna, J & J et cetera. They are going to be long-term investment.
As for inside information - you might wanna be careful about that.

Not if you believe ICE cars will be phased out and replaced by
EVs by 2030's according to climate change sheeple. By then only a
fraction of Suncor's output today will be needed. But if your investment
horizon is only a few years SU should be fine.
I own this too. Sadly, the future is in surveillance tech. Other names to look at are BlackSky and Planet Labs (satellite data AKA surveillance). Neither available on shitty WealthSimple. (And I'm not paying out of my ass on fees on IKBR).
