At Penn State University , there were four sophomores taking
chemistry and All of them had an 'A' so far. These four friends were
so confident that, The weekend before finals, they decided to visit
some friends and have a Big party. They had a great time but, after
all the hearty partying, they Slept all day Sunday and didn't make it
back to Penn State until early Monday morning.

Rather than taking the final then, they decided that after the final
they Would explain to their professor why they missed it. They said
that they Visited friends but on the way back they had a flat tire.
As a result, They missed the final. The professor agreed they could
make up the final The next day. The guys were excited and relieved.
They studied that night For the exam.

The next day the Professor placed them in separate rooms and gave
them a Test booklet. They quickly answered the first problem worth 5
points. Cool, they thought! Each one in separate rooms, thinking this
was going to Be easy....
Then they turned the page. On the second page was written....

For 95 points: Which tire? _________

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

"First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1) If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2) If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year, that "...it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having an affair with her, then #2 above cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and will not freeze over."
THIS STUDENT RECEIVED THE ONLY "A".

It gets closer to the end of a final exam when the professor says, "Times up, put your pencils down and hand in your exam".

The auditorium is full with hundreds of students but they all slowly head to the front to hand in their exams in a neat stack at the prof's desk. One student continues to write, ignoring the prof. The prof notices after several minutes the student continuing to write feverously and again says "Pencils down now or I will not accept your test".

Finally after several more minutes the student finishes the exam and walks up to the front to hand in his test. The prof says to the student "I told you before, if you did not stop I will not accept your test"

The student is upset and says to the prof "Like hell you won't accept my test. Do you have any idea who I am?!"

The prof replies, "No, I don't"

The student then lifts half the stack of exams handed in, puts his exam on top, and replaces the other half and walks out.

There's actually a video of that somewhere...youtube, or maybe a commercial.
