Ferraro: Obama Where He Is Because He's Black

Meanwhile back in the trenches, Obama has been quietly adding to his total and now leads Hillary by 170 pledged delegates, the latest coming from final distribution in Iowa and California, and some formerly pledged to Edwards. Nancy Pelosi also stated this week that leaders would damage the Democratic party if they didn't endorse the candidate who came to the convention with the most delegates gained in primaries and caucuses. Mathematically it's looking more and more that it ain't gonna be Hillary.

Ah, ah, ah. Florida, Florida, Florida. Michigan, Michigan, Michigan. And now that racism is dogging Obama (the racist that he is), he's going to be crushed in Pennsylvania and probably everywhere else.

Florida and Michigan aren't going to be seated based on their intial primaries, so you can kiss that fantasy goodbye. Michigan will likely have a revote, Florida, I doubt it. Floridians are scared shitless they might screw up yet again and become the laughing stock of the nation politically. They are already pretty much the armpit of the country, so it wouldn't take much to nudge them all the way. Of the remaining States that count, Hillary would have to win 2/3 of the delegates just to pull even, and that simply is not going to happen.

Strategy is it? I found it odd that Hillary referred to an obscure DNC rule this week that pledged delegates "should in all good conscience reflect the sentiment of those who elected them". Hillary pointed out this means they are not absolutely tied to those candidates, though her campaign quickly responded they were not trying to steal Obama's delegates. Yeah, right. Edwards appears ready to endorse one of the two, and there is talk it could be Hillary. Of course delegates pledged to Edwards can pretty much do as they please, as she said.

I'm not so certain he will be "crushed" in Pennsylvania, that state has a very high percentage black population.

I just wish this would have surfaced after he got the dem nod. Its the perfect vehicle to ensure the latino vote goes Republican.

does asama hussseins "mamma" know be dat her boy be hatin dem white cracker bastards.????:)

Good God, you really are an idiot. Hillary will win Penn pretty easily since she appeals to working class voters much more than Obama, who gets better support from the upper middle class. Btw, you've worked all the insipid blackface jokes about as far as you can. If someone wants to start a fund to transport you back to the 19th Century, I'd be more than happy to chip in.

I love you too.

You seem to have joined the webbie throng by claiming i'm an idiot.

I don't claim to be an expert on US politics but as an observer from north of the border see the osama campaign as covertly playing the race card as much as they can all the while pretending they don't.

the brother can you spare a vote , ghetto out the vote message is subliminal in all his afro-centric supporters messages.

.P.S.

Don't even think that I have used up my one liners, I've got an endless supply. The motherlode is just too extensive.

My friend, you are pushing the envelope.

The US can't survive with this generation of conservatives.

If this keeps up UK will outstrip US. Inconceivable, but....

[I was going to post GB [Great Britain] but then it dawned
on me GB could also mean.....]

Your racial comments are becoming offensive to me. Please,
knock it off. IMHO you're either an American, or you're not.
I could care less whether you're lineage is Anglo or African.

I agree with you Don but i find it disconcerting that the race card can be played sometimes as needed and denied in its existence at others. I am not any black at all, rather i am anti any group using a special circumstance as they need it to gain advantage.

The race issue is one that really surprises me in the US.I can't help but think that most whites are further past it than some of the so called black leaders that use it to rally the troops when they have nothing substantive to offer.

I'm certain. The demographics are that of Ohio. It's also the upper east coast belt, MA, NH, NY, NJ, PA, OH. It's Clinton territory. With the very popular governor Ed Randall pushing for nothing other than Clinton, and with the recent revelation that Obama was and always has been a racist with his 20+ year racist pastor, he's doomed. This racism stuff is dogging Obama like an anvil and it's going to get worse. His church endorsed Louis Farrakhan, Obama refuses it, but doesn't denounce it, then Clinton pushes him to denounce it, then he denounces it. Obama is done. There's much more that will come out.

I knew this was going to happen when they went after Ferraro. One just doesn't go after her in America.

Media outlets like Fox News will push and push and push that Obama is a racist, including conservative talk radio. They won't let it go. The left-wing media, USA TODAY, CNN, ABC and NBC (somewhat), will try to keep it under wraps, but not Fox and if Fox keeps it going with higher ratings again, it spreads.

And frankly, since Obama's racist pastor was a member of his campaign, then jumps ship on vacation no where to issue comments, there's no doubt that terrorist was going to be in the White House.

Isn't that just basic Politics 101?
I abhor it also, but aren't both parties, all politicians guilty of it?

Here's an African-American saying the same thing:

BET founder says Obama owes his candidacy to his race.

Wading back into the Democratic presidential race, billionaire businessman Bob Johnson said Monday that Sen. Barack Obama would not be his party's leading candidate if he were white.

Perhaps a poor, while arguably apt, choice of words " cannibalism" , the ex Mayor of Toronto got in hot water ( figuratively) when he mused about its prospects ( literally).

It's also easy to see why Obama would be frustrated by the issue of his race and prone to speculating why his message is not getting through in certain "rural areas".

By the some "token", my message would not resonate well in an "urban" area.

Comes with the territory, he has to suck it up and keep going, as its going to get a lot tougher for him when he faces a real opponent this fall.

You don't think he's been facing one up to now? Hillary is a very formidable opponent and if Obama wins in November he has her to thank for toughening him up.

I didn't say he faced nothing now, I said tougher in the fall.

billery is but one ( granted a hefty one) but there are many attack teams awaiting him in the fall if the Republicans do their job.
