Clinton campaign finance committee member, former vice presidential candidate, and former Rep. Geraldine Ferraro, D-NY, told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Ca., that, "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

No HJ for you tonight, I see. Obama doesn't recognize his "whiteness" half. He keeps saying he's black. Obama's a racist, if you ask me.

He's what was once called a mulato, of mixed race.
It isn't politically acceptable since all living blacks of
slave ancestors have white blood in their legacy.

Slaves prior to 1865 were considered to be
3/4 African, 1/4 White.

Your post is a off because of the history of 'blackness'
in the US.
Give it a few weeks and hilery will show an ad with him eating Oreos

he is masking his liberalism rather well...his voting record is there for public scrutiny...he keeps trumpeting change and renewal, and rarely states his postions on issues...he is a liberal,s liberal, which is stiil regarded in States as a 4 letter word..politicians will proudly announce that they are conservatives but no politician will say out loud they are liberals...Obama is a black guy campainging like a white guy..something that Jesse Jackson or whoever else could never be able to do..

BB, disagree with my opinions all you want, but please do not , in any way ,lump me in with that idiot Gyaos.....yes Obama has struck a chord with alot of people, but i firmly believe he has "parked" his race...i think he would make a good President, not because of his oratory skills, but because of where he stands on the issues of the day....my opinions are based on innocuos[spelling?] observations, i dont think they are nonsense, just because you disagree..cheers.....

Obama has used race to define himself and "blackness" in general. Remember him commenting on the "blackness" of Bill Clinton and how he'd have to see "Mr. Clinton can dance before calling him a brother" and such.

This internal Democratic battle is wild. Last year I posted that a rock could run against the GOP nominee and win. I didn't think it possible for even the Democrats to screw 2008 up. Well guess what... I underestimated their ability to screw things up! I can now see McCain actually having a bit of a shot at this.

In a very dark place
Pot, kettle, black, errr part black.

I love this stuff. Farkin libs tripping over themselves to be black, but not too black all while saying they are colourblind.

Comedy writers can't create stuff this good.

so osama is in the lead, thats an "affirmative" action they didn't count on.:D

Hmm. Let's see.

OBAMA: "I've shown my credentials with New York Cabbies when it comes to flagging down a cab (due to the fact I'm black)"
OBAMA: "I will determine if (Bill Clinton) is a brother"
OBAMA: "Look, we have a woman, a black man, and (silence when he points to John Edwards)"

Obama is without a doubt a reverse discriminator, thinks his mother is from Mars (who's Caucasian), and is a pig racist if there ever was one. Why? Because even if he's in the "lead" now, he's going to lose the nomination to Hillary Clinton because he lost MI and FL, those delegates belong to Clinton, the DNC won't stop them from going to Clinton in the end, they won't have a "re-vote" and the left-of-the-left will zip it, Dean resigns, that's it. So Obama is driving race to get as many votes as possible, in black majority primaries to make it look like he won California, when in fact we won only a small state, as it's his only chance to come close. What does he care, his wife hates America as she so proudly stated publically. Notice they took her big mouth out of it, lately.

Oh yes, I almost forgot:
- Chris Rock introduces Obama in NY with "you don't have to vote for that white woman." I never saw Obama dismiss these comments as racist.

Two way street, if Obama claims he's a unifier. He's a divider thinking the white's can live with black Fallujah style racism. Ferraro is right.

I think there is some truth in what Ferraro says, but she is surely ignoring the appeal of a fresh voice in American politics. But one can ask:

- would Hillary be where she is if she wasn't Bill's wife? I guess, despite some 'setbacks' she has been very lucky.
- Is John Mccain lucky he was shot down and spent all that time as a POW? He wouldn't be where he is today without that resume.
- Goodness, wasn't GWB lucky to be the son of a president and to get all those handouts while he was destroying companies in Texas. I suspect the guy would be in jail by now if he wasn't a presidents son.

The point is everyone seems to bring their own advantages and disadvantages to the fray. Let's move on and not make unnecessary distinctions that cloud the issues.

Sigh. Time to put you on "ignore," at least until the election is over. Your petulance about Obama is half-assed, obsessive, and annoying.

Only a bigot like you throws up the notion that all Obama has going for himself is his race ... you should be ashamed of these comments as should Ferraro.
HA! You are such an idiot. The numbers prove it. Blacks vote Obama 91%. Whites vote Clinton 73%. Hispanics vote Clinton 68%. Obama keeps calling himself "black" and doesn't stop the media calling him the "first black President". He goes to rallies with 95% blacks and sports a fake black accent, then pops in rallies in Ohio sporting his normal American speech. He's half white, so why is he called black? Why does he call himself black? I've got news for you, if you are really color blind, fantastic. That's the way I want it too. BUT, if Whites and Hispanics are not voting for Obama because he's an inexperienced idiot, and the blacks vote for him "because he's a brother", then American racism is again in your face. Obama exploits it, the illegal US media pushes it, and you can't accept it. Katie Couric makes $15,000,000 a year at CBS, so she can afford to say "the first black President" and additionally afford to not say "Obama is white by his mother, black by his father, so he's both".

Yo! Da Brotha is black! Tanks Katie Couric.

All Obama has going for himself is his race AND the young voters. But the youth are not showing up like they did for Bill Clinton in 1992, and the blacks are in record numbers and why? Because of Obama's policies, or to just "win this thing"?

You'll never know, especially when Hillary Clinton wins the nomination. You'll be posting pissed off messages on this board when she's up against McCain.

You know Gyaos, if you really want to help Hillary win, I suggest you go out of your way to make people feel rest assured that no one even remotely like you is one of her supporters.

I would not exactly call being a POW for a few years as lucky.

The only sex he's getting is hand jobs he has to pay for in Asia (so he doesn't feel too short) you might be taking him a bit too seriously.
