Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Disintegrates on Impact
Someone needs a driving lesson. But maybe if you own a Ferrari you will be OK

"What you're looking at is what's left of a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti that was split in two by an collision with a metal utility pole in Russia last weekend. An impact with a narrow object like a pole is generally never pretty, and in this case it separated the car's entire front clip from the body. But miraculously, of the 612's four occupants, only the driver had to be treated for minor injuriesAs in motorsports, where the worst-looking wrecks are often the most survivable because of the way the crash energy is disipated through twisted metal and flying car parts, this completely demolished Ferrari definitely did its job in keeping its passengers safe."

About the third incident/video I'vee sen in recent months for high end car collisions/poor driving in Russia...there must be a lot around as the camera also needs to be there as well (in the case of videoing an accident)....lots of money 9to buy the vehicle) and lots of drinking (they are russians), I suppose!

The fact that the 4 occupants walked away has more to do with the angle and location with which the vehicle struck the pole than the Ferrari doing its job keeping the passengers safe. There was no impact to the passenger compartment so it's not surprising they walked away. Had they hit the pole in the center of the driver or passenger door, it would most likely have resulted in a fatality or two. Hardly a miracle.
