Female/Male Reception? Any preference or does it matter?


Was discussing with a friend (agency owner) the topic of female/male reception for escort agency or massage place. (Was trying to get him to hire me, lol) He swears by ladies only. He believes any agency or indie who hires male reception will ‘close’ less calls when hobbyists phone in.

In my personal experience I never worked the phones for escort agency before however some years ago I was doorman/phone person for a massage place. Never had anyone hang up or turn back at the door. According to buddy when male answers phone at agency the caller sometimes hangs up.

So anyway… gals, guys, agency owners/managers/reception peoples… what’s your take on this? Please share.

Makes absolutely no difference. The most important thing is whether they are courteous. It doesn't hurt if the receptionist is a young woman with a sexy voice, but it's irrelevant really.

I agree. I have dealt with several agencies:

Both RM & Tia's have male as well as female at the front office. Both have always been helpful and courteous.

And at TOG and TAG is the males who handle the front end and both have been friendly as well as curt at sometimes.

I have dealt with,RE, Exquisite, 4 Plays, and Sassy, who have females and these have always been friendly and helpful.

There have been other agencies that have females handling the calls, and some of these have been curt, gruff, and un-courteous.

And off course the little business that I may have has always gone to the agencies with friendly front offices.

My exp. running an agency.

Many guys that hang up if I answered the phone were not legitamate anyway. I would just take their phone # off call display and have one of the escorts call him. 9.5 out of 10 times the guy never booked and was just goofing on the phone.

I have discovered its easier to ask a guy if she provides specials and extras. When a girl hears a request that she doesn't like or do she usually freaks.
