I was with Acanac about 4 years ago, internet only, for 2 years. Could be different now, however i had lots of technical issues, and after the first years special promotion price, the price shot up to very expensive.

Do a google search, last year I read they had the some issues.

I recommend TekSavvy, they are quite good.

If you get internet service by telephone modem, it is all supplied by Bell. So I just shop around and then call Bell and threaten to cancel and they meet my price with a 2 months free bonus antivirus included. This year I got my home service from Bell for $35/mo. ( 7 mbps )

BTW if you get cable internet service you can get 10 mbps when there are less people using the line, but it can slow down to 2 mbps when there are a lot of people on the line.

I used to be a Teksavvy customer, and am now with Acnac. About 18 months now, and service has been great.

acanac. I use their canaca service for webhosting. Been with them for a few years, but i want to leave. They changed their prices and services, and their service is diminishing. But that's webhosting.

To be honest, on most tech forums, they've got nothing but bad reviews.
It's DSL, but apparently its supplied by Bell with worse service or something.

Also, their tech support sucks major donkey balls.

I can vouch for this too. They really like to reply by email. Its like they have 2 or 3 guys running tech support, and i get 20 email conversations between the 3 of them trying to solve my problems. There were a few times where their service completely died for a few weeks, resulting in some loss of business on my side. When i confronted them, it felt like they didn't even know what was wrong on their end. Couldn't really do anything.

Also, they tend to rebill you and overcharge without telling you, so watch edit your profile and put non-recurring bill. People have been getting $600-$700 bills from them. There's a few bad reviews on that subject as well. Then you add the fact that they have bad customer service (there was one that said they refused to cancel the service and forced the bill or something), there's high odds you'll have a similar situation. I think the owner's name is Mark if i recall. he's kinda difficult to talk to sometimes.

I would stay away from them.

I hear Teksavvy is awesome. Apparently the only hard part is the initial setup, but after that its internet bliss.
